Luxford Restaurant
Situated on the ground floor of Uckfield Civic Centre, Luxfords Restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 4.00pm serving meals, hot snacks and beverages. The Restaurant also has a fully licensed bar.
The Restaurant and kitchen has 3 full time staff and 8 part-time staff and is able to call upon a bank of casual staff for larger functions. All staff are trained in-house to high standards.
Luxfords Restaurant also provides a full in-house catering service for all events and functions at the Civic Centre and is able to provide everything from a sandwich, finger or hot fork buffet for meetings, training days, conferences, party buffets, sit down dinners for wedding receptions or charity balls.
The Restaurant is fully accessible to disabled people and to parents with small children. A number of highchairs are available and there is a “buggy park” where pushchairs and buggies can be safely stored during busy periods.
Throughout the year, the Restaurant has a number of themed menus, including Sussex Fayre, Mothers Day, St. Patrick’s Day and, of course, Christmas.
Our menus and specials include a selection of home cooked styled mains and a variety of vegetarian options. We also sell Fairtrade tea, coffee and hot chocolate. For those with a smaller appetite we now have “The Lite Bite Selection” at lunchtimes. We have theme weeks and daily specials.
For our youngest customers we have a children’s menu with pages to colour.

Uckfield Town Council has installed wireless network technology in Luxfords Restaurant which is available for use by customers free of charge. Anyone using Luxfords Restaurant can bring a laptop with Wi-Fi capability and access their social network site, tweet, do their homework or read their e-mails in the comfort of our facilities. All for the price of a cup of coffee and a sandwich or two.
