Formed in London in 1977, Nine Below Zero won their place on the main London circuit two years late. As the band embarked on an intensive gig schedule, the stirrings grew and word spread across the nation, over the Channel to Europe and beyond. As time went by, however, it soon became clear that their contemporary and energetic performance of cover versions, was merely a starting point for their own ideas to emerge with a vibrant solid sound that is indisputably their own.
