The Town Council has a number of facilities available for hire for a wide range of events and functions:


    • In the Civic Centre

    • Foresters Hall

    • Sports Pavilions and Pitches at West Park and Victoria Pleasure Ground

    • Luxford Field

Making a Booking

To check availability of rooms and dates for the  Civic Centre, Foresters Hall or one of the sports pavilions please call the Bookings Line or Email.

To assist our staff, please have the following information available:

Staff will then be able to advise you of available rooms and will make every effort to  accommodate your event.

If a room is available for your preferred date and time, additional details will be needed to make your provisional booking:

You will then be sent, by post or email, a 3-part booking form and the follow related documents
Catering form.
Additional equipment form
Layout form.
Terms and conditions .
Hire charges.

You should check and complete the forms and return them to the  Council Offices, where your booking will be confirmed.  

An invoice for the hire charge payable will be sent to you at least 28 days prior to your  booking and should be paid within 14 days.

Audio Visual Equipment
If you require additional audio visual equipment on the day, or have difficulties with operating any equipment, please contact a caretaker or the Council Offices for assistance.

Free Wi-Fi Access
Uckfield Town Council has now installed wireless network technology in the Civic Centre which is now available for use by groups or organisations using our meeting rooms or The Weald Hall.
